Detailing clay cannot be used on matt vehicles, however your surface needs to be decontaminated before a protective coating is applied. The solution is to use Matt Paint Cleanser. This paint preparation spray removes any contaminants that are left on the car’s surface after washing.
Matt Paint Cleanser leaves an even, uniform surface which it vital for when you come to apply protection to your vehicle. Using this product before you apply a coating will ensure that it bonds to the surface correctly.
This cleanser can strip existing coatings, so it is recommended to use Matt Paint Cleanser followed by an application of a coating.
